And now we have been tipped by our readers that it is in fact coming as soon as this Friday (if all goes according to plan) – the same day on which iPad 3G ships.

In reply to a user, this is what comex (the creator of Spirit) said.

wahoofan5: @comex so when’s it coming out? At least give a month please
about 4 hours ago via Twitterrific in reply to comex

comex: @wahoofan5 Friday.
about 1 hour ago via web in reply to wahoofan5

Also to note here is that Spirit doesn’t work out of the browser as previously thought, and neither can it unlock any iDevice. It is a jailbreaking only tool like blackra1n which can jailbreak the stock iPhone 3.1.3, iPad 3.2 on almost all the iDevices – MC/non-MC, new bootrom/old bootrom on iPhone 2G/3G/3GS, iPod touch 1G/2G/3G and iPad/iPad 3G.

For those of you asking for an unlock, well it now seems that an unlock for the latest baseband wont be release before the next-iPhone is released in June. iPhone Dev Team and Geohot both have got exploits which can unlock iPhone 3.1.3 and iPhone OS 4, but they don’t to waste it now for such a minor release.

is it true?

Ziphone 4.0

Unlock iPhone 3GS jailbreak 3.1.3

No more problems with unlock any iphone

They provide a full unlock solution all iPhones, from the 4gb 1.0.0 to the latest 32gb 3G / 3GS 3.1.2 /3.1.3 firmware. All our thanks to these enterprising boys who have realized the dream of many iPhone users who have recently purchased a beautiful and attractive iPhone, but do not forget all those iPhone users who have accidently updated the old firmware 3.1.2 to the new firmware 3.1.3.

Jailbreak 3.1.3 really simple!

The simplicity of operation of the program is disarming, you download the program, connect the iPhone to your computer, start the program and the iPhone is unlocked.

The freedom to communicate triumphs once again!

Ziphone 4.0

Ziphone: iPad Unlock Jailbreak

IPAD: WHY DO TO UNLOCK OR JAILBREAK?

Most iPhone users who unlock their device don`t like the restriction Apple gives to it`s users not to be able to do anything as wish but your tied down to Apple`s iTunes and iTunes Store.

So most people who will unlock their device will do it probably because:
- A way to bypass iTunes and use any software/apps/games without any restrictions.
- Use 3th party Apps that are not listed in iTunes Store (as they have a lot of restrictions).
- BossPrefs - Customize and add iPad Settings
- Cydia - Own (Free) Apps Database
- Backup Apps - Backup purchased and jailbroken apps
- Winterboard - Overhaul your iPad GUI with fresh COOL iPad Themes.
- Free Ringtones for iPad

- The ability for multi tasking on your iPad

Ziphone 4.0

Blackra1n not working

Many readers have written to me to undergo the process many times errors jailbreak with blackra1n; dll not found, the iphone crashes, fix errors blackra1n, blackra1n not working and many more, but find solutions in the meantime you can visit this blog: blackra1n.biz

Ziphone Blog: New iPhone 4G Releases July 17, 2010

New iPhone ‘ready to go on sale’ as early as July 17, 2010. Now, you call that another rumor that would soon bite the dust or the tight-lipped policy of Apple Inc. to leak, yet step back from spilling the beans altogether. The seeds of this rumor might be linked to the fact that Apple Inc. might like to follow its tradition of releasing a new iPhone version mid-summer every year.

The tongues went wagging and the news spread like wildfire, when rumors spilled from a post in AppleiPhoneApps.com revealing a possible third generation iPhone release. The post even cited a possible date - July 17, 2010, quoting ‘inside sources’ from Apple development team. The website has also quoted that the present price tags of $199 and $299 will remain.

New iPhone Specifications - What to expect

There are also reports of a few changes in the external look of the new iPhone. Apart from reports of the metal band around the edge of the device ‘gone missing’, the new device is believed to have a comparatively sleeker design with a rubber-tread backing.

Moreover, the rear of the phone will also sport a glowing Apple logo.

The new iPhone is stated to offer 32GB storage capacity.

Although there is no confirmation yet on the price, rumors are rife that the 16GB and 32GB storage is priced at $199 and $299 respectively.

The short battery life in the current iPhone version is believed to be one of the bigger flaws in this highly popular device. The battery life of the new iPhone is believed to be 1.5 times greater than the original Palm Pre

Apart from doubling of the RAM to 256MB, the processor speed is also expected to be twice as fast from the current 412MHz clock speed to 600MHz. iPhone enthusiasts are hopeful about the inclusion of background processing too.

Possible inclusion of 3.2-megapixel camera, for taking clear pictures; along with functions like video-recording and editing.

The new iPhone with iPhone 3.0 software update will most likely allow iPhone users send pictures and videos via MMS.

Built-in FM transmitter is probably one of the most anticipated features to look forward in the new iPhone. Another expected feature is the OLED screen.

Another enviable feature in the new iPhone is said to be that of a built-in compass and the GPS, camera, compass and Google map combined will functions like ‘identify photo’ and ‘inform about photo locations’.

The new device allowing turn-by-turn directions is another feature iPhone users are looking up to.

Confirmation expected...

All eyes are now set on Monday, June 8, 2009 for further details on the new iPhone when Apple Inc. Vice President Phil Schiller will give out a keynote address at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WDC) in San Francisco. While another theory doing the rounds related to the release of the new iPhone is in anticipation of Apple’s affinity to schedule significant releases in the magic month of July. And analysts are hopeful that a formal announcement is on the cards following the return of CEO Steve Jobs to Apple Inc.

Industry analysts are optimistic that release of the new iPhone would drive demand as it has on other release of the earlier versions. Although, IPhone sales represent about 11% of Apple's last quarterly revenue, and the Q1 report for the current shows a 123% rise in sales, the new iPhone is expected to steer the smartphone giant clear out of recession blues. And the results are already showing on the Apple Inc. shares, which have risen 43% until now this year, somewhat in anticipation of Apple releasing a new iPhone sometime this year.

article from ziphone.org

Ziphone 4.0

iPhone Error 1600, 1601, 1602, 1603, 1604

To upgrade your iPhone 2G to the new firmware, use Pwange Tool 2.0 on an iMac are asked to DFU mode and iTunes update with the custom firmware you created with Pwnage.

Well during the firmware update, iTunes showed various error messages that start with the digit 16xx. In particular, the first time there has been an error 1604, following a wheel failure as in 1600, 1601, 1602, 1603.

We followed several points, but one in particular has allowed us to restore our mobile jailbreak.

Once shown the error 16xx, what allowed us to solve the problem has been going on a Windows Vista PC that had installed iTunes 7.7, uninstall the itunes 7.7, Apple Software Update and then finally Apple Mobile Device Support.

Once this is done we proceeded to install iTunes version 7.4. With iTunes version 7.4 we downloaded the firmware 1.1.4 update and this time the cell was completed properly. Once you update the firmware of the phone to the 1.1.4 version we downloaded ZiPhone, and proceeded to his release. Finally on that Mac always had problems, we made the 2.0 update again this time with success.

Ziphone 4.0

Ziphone blog News: Verizon iPhone Is Not on the Near Horizon

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- The prospect of a Verizon iPhone has sparked more speculation, more analysis and a big new high for Apple's<ticker symbol="AAPL" type="EQUITY"> stock. </ticker>
Apple is once again reported to be preparing production of a CDMA <ygg:entity id="t3" ref="#nq9sJNw43RGue9xXXWfsEA">iPhone</ygg:entity> that would be compatible with the networks of Verizon<ticker symbol="VZ" type="EQUITY"> and Sprint<ticker symbol="S" type="EQUITY">, according to a report Monday by The Wall Street Journal. </ticker></ticker>
The report revives rumors of a Verizon iPhone, and by Tuesday analysts weighed in with their own take on the potential development.
Few analysts, however, see the <ygg:entity id="t4" ref="#nq9sJNw43RGue9xXXWfsEA">iPhone</ygg:entity> landing at Verizon this year.

"A launch of a CDMA-based phone with Verizon this year is unlikely," UBS analyst Maynard Um wrote in a research note Tuesday, adding that he believes "a CDMA phone could be launched with other operators later in the year." Those other telcos include China Telecom<ticker symbol="CHA" type="EQUITY"> and <ygg:entity id="t5" ref="#GgLXtmgY3RG1aCOGXWfsEA">Japan</ygg:entity>'s KDDI. </ticker>
The rumors stir up a long-running debate over when and if Apple and Verizon will ever come to terms over the <ygg:entity id="t6" ref="#nq9sJNw43RGue9xXXWfsEA">iPhone</ygg:entity>.
Apple, maker of the hottest smartphone, and Verizon, the operator of the largest U.S. network, seem to be destined for an agreement once Apple's exclusive with AT&T<ticker symbol="T" type="EQUITY"> expires, but progress has been uncertain. </ticker>
"Apple can't ignore the largest customer in its largest market," says Michael Cote, of the Cote Collaborative. "They have 90 million customers that Apple doesn't have access to. The only way for Apple to grow in the U.S. is to access those subscribers," says Cote.
But Cote says if there is a Verizon <ygg:entity id="t7" ref="#nq9sJNw43RGue9xXXWfsEA">iPhone</ygg:entity>, the timing is not likely known even by Apple and Verizon yet.
For Verizon, the <ygg:entity id="t8" ref="#nq9sJNw43RGue9xXXWfsEA">iPhone</ygg:entity> represents a swarm of new, big spending subscribers, but it also means Verizon is largely cut out of the revenue equation as its users become Apple customers, who will spend money at <ygg:entity id="t9" ref="#Ti1sJNw43RGue9xXXWfsEA">iTunes</ygg:entity> and the App Store. This conflicts with Verizon's mobile-commerce ambitions.
There are also network infrastructure issues that need to be addressed. The <ygg:entity id="t10" ref="#nq9sJNw43RGue9xXXWfsEA">iPhone</ygg:entity> puts heavy demands on the wireless system, as unhappy AT&T <ygg:entity id="t11" ref="#nq9sJNw43RGue9xXXWfsEA">iPhone</ygg:entity> customers have long known. Verizon would like to avoid that, and Apple could help if it developed its own supplemental network. <story_page_break></story_page_break>
Similar to what Research In Motion<ticker symbol="RIMM" type="EQUITY"> has done with its <ygg:entity id="t12" ref="#RMuWJNw43RGue9xXXWfsEA">BlackBerry</ygg:entity> servers and email delivery system, Apple could provide a data center to reduce the burden on Verizon's network resources, says Cote. This could allow a so-called push system that sends <ygg:entity id="t13" ref="#nq9sJNw43RGue9xXXWfsEA">iPhone</ygg:entity> subscribers updates and emails as they come in instead of requiring the phone to continually check in with the network for new info. </ticker>
Beyond network management, Verizon and Apple have not seen eye-to-eye in the past and the differences are still unresolved.

RBC analyst Mike Abramsky says there's a lot of work yet to be done before Verizon and Apple come together. "The two parties may still need to resolve contentious issues such as subsidies, branding, revenue share, data plans, etc.," Abramsky writes. "And Verizon just launched its own App store last week, which it may require some or all smartphones to offer," Abramsky added.
Apple shares hit an all-time high of $237.48 early Tuesday, but has since settled down slightly to $236.19 or up 2% by mid morning.
--Written by Scott Moritz in New York

Ziphone 4.0

Ziphone 4.0: 3.1.3 jailbreak iphone 3GS unlocked

Discovered the method to unlock the iphone 3G 3.1.3 for the joy of new and old users who have upgraded their old firmware 3.1.2 with the latest 3.1.3.The software is functional and makes the jailbreak even easier simply download the software and connect the iphone to the computer, the software automatically perform the jailbreak.

unlock iphone 3.1.3

Ziphone 4.0

Ziphone: iPhones are Contract-Free, Not Unlocked

The news broke out in the iPhone world on Monday that Apple was going to start selling contract-free iPhone at list price in its stores and on its Websites, many thought that iPhones would be sold unlocked. However, it was not the case; list price was referred to here as the price without subsidization from AT&T.

On further analysis, it was found that while the iPhone 3G 8GB model sells for a list price of $499, the iPhone 3GS 16GB and 32GB models sell for $599 and $699 respectively; and now the iPhones are being sold at list price to customers sans an AT&T contract. The offer however, hasn’t yet reached the online store; therefore you will have to visit your local Apple Store to clinch the deal.

New policy changes for iPhone - Will this propel iphone unlocking?

In the latest internal memo, Apple revealed the details of the new policy change which mentions that customers may now buy ‘one’ iPhone at full price, without an AT&T contract, per day (you can purchase up to five contracted iPhones). Apart from that, customers can purchase up to ten full-price iPhones per lifetime.

This policy of course, doesn’t mean much for the average customer, unless you were contemplating iPhone unlocking. You may not require demonstrating proof of an AT&T contract to get an iPhone from an Apple store; however, you'll still need an AT&T contract if you want it to be anything more than an iPod Touch. Some industry experts have referred to the recent launch of contract-free iphone as the first sign of the arrival of the fourth-generation iPhone.

It is now for you – the consumer to decide if you would like to opt for a contract-free iPhone at full price or an unlocked iPhone. For technical support and service for iphone unlocking or jailbreak iphone 3.1.3 you may visit unlockiphone4.org for quick assistance.

Ziphone 4.0

Blackra1n RC2: download available for Mac!

You can download it from here (both Windows and Mac). Strangely enough, my original iPhone doesn’t seem to have the problem.
Apparently I’m not alone, as Google recommends in Safari. So here’s how to fix the problem:

Settings

General

Reset…

Reset Network Settings

This will wipe all your WiFi settings out and restart the phone. When it starts up again, you’ll have to reenter passwords for the WiFi networks you use. Ever since the reset, my phone seems to join my network normally.
More details...

Ziphone 4.0

Ziphone blog - iPhone 3gs 3.1.3 full unlock now available

Full unlock now available for iPhone 3gs 3.1.3

Apple in February released firmware 3.1.3, which offered no new features but which did close the method through which the previous unlock was injected. Our next software unlock won’t be coming out until version 4.0. The reason? If we ’showed our hand’ to Apple and revealed to them the exploit we will be using then they will simply close it. So an unlock at version 3.1.3 means a long wait for an unlock at version 4. We figured version 4 will be such a big important update (multitasking for 3rd party apps etc) that our customers would rather have immediate access to that, hence the decision was made.

However, many of our NEW customers who didn’t know not to update their unlocked iPhones had already upgraded their iPhones unwittingly and locked themselves out. And new iPhones are already coming out at version 3.1.3. As a result we have had to find a new method. Just like at version 3.1.2 when we offered a reward for a baseband unlock (which wasn’t taken but the challenge was still met), we have risen to the occasion and present our latest and greatest ever .

Full details here

Ziphone 4.0

Unlock iPhone 3.1.3 iphone OS 3.1.3 unlocking jailbreak iphone 3GS 3.1.3

Incredible! and if rumors are to be believed, you might soon get your wish fulfilled this summer. News is rife that Apple will include multitasking in its iPhone 4.0 update, which will allow several third party apps to run at the same time as well as in the background.

Although, it is not very clear as to how the iPhone update would deal with two of the biggest issues associated with multitasking - battery life and performance; it is for sure that Multitasking will be hailed by most iPhone users. However, there are also many who do not consider it as that important, as you do not actually need multitasking for looking up restaurants, movie times or news reports.

For your iPhone do you need actually the Multitasking?

There’s a big debate as to if you actually require Multitasking for your iPhone. Even though some have revoked the idea of multitasking, it is fact that the feature would be useful for running apps like Pandora in the background. The iPhone developers have also been recently developing apps that 'remember' what you were doing when you last closed the apps. It was almost like the app was running in the background ever since it restarted.

However, one thing that hold true is that even though Apple doesn't really need multitasking for the iPhone, it is the competitors in the fray in the smartphone market, who are pushing multitasking as a feature. This in fact is giving the perception that it is a feature that can ‘make a difference’ when it comes to customer choice.

Going by reports, other smartphones like the Motorola Droid, which support multi-tasking; the feature comes with a heavy impact on battery life and performance, and perhaps this could be one reason for Apple taking so long to include it. And taking Apple's focus on preserving battery life to date, it seems rather unusual to believe that iPhone OS 4.0 will be targeting Apple products that are powered by multi-core capable processors, such as the ARM Cortex A9.

There are also rumors doing the rounds that iPhone OS 4.0 may not be released in 2010. While all eyes are on the iPhone OS 4.0, amidst all rumors we hope against hope that Apple will definitely have something wonderful to offer for its customer base.

ZiPhone 4.0

ZiPhone: iPhone OS 4.0

Growing waiting for the next round of the January 27, the day that Apple plans to announce some important news. According to reports in the last few hours, most likely Apple would introduce the new iPhone OS 4.0, the next version of the smartphone operating system iPhone.

Some developers, carefully selected by Apple, have already received a preview of the development kit to convert their programs to the new iPhone OS 4.0. The news is more interesting is that the version of iPhone OS 4.0 will support screen sizes and higher resolutions, an indiscretion on the adoption of this platform sull'attesissimo Tablet PC, Apple or the next version 's iPhone.

Unlock iPhone with ZiPhone 3.0 (all firmware) on a Mac

This guide is an update of previous guidance for the release of the iPhone with ZiPhone 2.5. Does not change much, in fact, however, since ZiPhone 3.0 is used, it is good to have a specific guide for the new version of the program of Zibri.
